By using ClearScan (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must only scan domains that you own or have explicit written authorization to test. Scanning domains without authorization may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), similar laws in other jurisdictions, and these Terms. ClearScan performs passive, public-source lookups only, but authorization is your responsibility.
ClearScan is not a penetration testing service and does not perform any active exploitation.
ClearScan shows your public-facing security posture. It does not certify compliance with any standard (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.). Do not represent ClearScan results as a compliance certification or audit.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@getclearscan.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. One-time report purchases are non-refundable once the report has been generated. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your current billing period.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. ClearScan does not guarantee that scans are complete, accurate, or free of errors. Security posture changes rapidly; results reflect a point-in-time snapshot only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearScan's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
